Darren's story: Darren has experienced the range of BIRT services, including spending time at it’s independent hospital, York House and is now living in the community and hoping to go to college. Darren’s case exemplifies the flexibility of our continuum, which allows people to have the degree of support they require whilst still on the journey towards independence.

Alan's story: In his own words; Alan tells of his experiences of life after an acquired brain injury and how his stay at Anlaby Road has helped his rehabilitation.

Geraint's story: Geraint sustained a brain injury from falling down stairs at his home. As a result he underwent a frontal lobotomy as well as a cranioplasty before being discharged from hospital.
