The Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust (BIRT) is pleased to announce the names for the new development at Graham Anderson House (GAH), providing new additional services for people with brain injury, allowing the service to extend its provision and facilities in Glasgow.

Four, four-bedded bungalows are currently being built on the land which adjoins the main hospital site owned by the Trust.

The collective name for the development is ‘Eastfields’.

The four properties have been named individually as:

  • Bungalow one, a four-bedded nursing service – Bluebell
  • Bungalow two, four self contained flats – Thistle
  • Bungalow three, another four self-contained flats – Hawthorn
  • Bungalow four, a four-bedded transitional service – Heather

Sandra Wylie, Service Manager at GAH said: “We are delighted to announce these names for the new developments and our service users are very pleased that they are relevant names to the location. We look forward to these additional services being opened very soon.”
