Service users and staff from BIRT centre, Redford Court in Liverpool, celebrated their annual ball on Friday 12th May 2017 – which also recognised Action for Brain injury week (8th-14th May).

The theme of the ball was World War Two: British Spirit - with everyone dressing up in 1940’s attire. The food and refreshments, as well as the entertainment, were also from that era. The singer covered some classic Dame Vera Lynn songs with everybody singing and dancing along.

Service User & Family Liaison Officer Michael Boardman said: “This ball could not happen year after year without the hard work and dedication of the team at Redford Court. It’s such an amazing team to work with and they should all be so proud. It was a fantastic evening which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.”

Service user Natalie said: “It was fantastic, I had a lovely time.”

Service user Andrew said: “It was amazing and my family and I had a great time.”
