Situated in Cullompton, Devon, The Woodmill is a neurobehavioural brain injury rehabilitation centre for people in the South West of England with acquired brain injury (ABI). Offering a range of flexible brain injury rehabilitation options within its specialist centre and in the local community, The Woodmill forms part of the nationwide network of brain injury rehabilitation support services provided by the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust(BIRT).

What does The Woodmill do?

We specialise in the assessment and rehabilitation of people with an acquired brain injury and complex needs including physical, cognitive, behavioural and/or emotional difficulties, such as social functioning and disinhibited behaviour. It also provides a continuing brain injury rehabilitation service for people with longer term needs. Specialist rehabilitation is based on a neurobehavioural approach and focuses on enabling service users to function more independently, develop their lives as they choose and participate in as many of their previous roles and activities as possible.
