There are only a few places left at The Woodmill’s forthcoming free seminar ‘Brain Injury: a disability worth talking about'. Being held on Friday 6th March 2015 at Cullompton Community Centre, it is aimed at professionals working in health and social care with an interest in brain injury including social workers, GPs, speech and language therapists, personal injury lawyers, physiotherapists and neuropsychologists.

A highlight of the seminar will be an introduction to the Brain Injury Needs Indicator, by Dr Sue Copstick, Clinical Director of the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust (BIRT) and Erin Rodgers, Policy and Campaigns Manager Representatives from Novum Law, who are sponsoring the event, will present a medico-legal perspective on the impact of The Care Act 2014 After lunch, Eddie Cattanach ,Support Worker, and Gill Hardy, Speech and Language Therapist, will tell the story of rehabilitation from a service user’s perspective ‘Regaining my voice after brain injury,’.
