Specialist serious injury lawyers at Irwin Mitchell’s Birmingham office swapped their pinstripes for paintbrushes to support Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust’s (BIRT) West Heath House.

Six members of staff from the office visited the service on Friday 16th October to help with redecorating corridors at the 24-bed service, following the regular wear-and-tear.

Irwin Mitchell has enjoyed a long relationship with the The Disabilities Trust and BIRT across its offices and was proud to get involved on the day.

Hilary Wetherell, a Partner in Irwin Mitchell’s Birmingham office said: “We have enjoyed great links with the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust and The Disabilities Trust for many years. They provide an invaluable service to individuals who require specialist brain injury rehabilitation and many of our clients and families have benefitted from their input and expertise so we were delighted to answer the call when they asked for help with this work. As a firm we have always recognised the importance of getting involved in the local communities where we have offices and particularly providing support to important charities working in such areas.”

Amanda Haynes Service Manager at West Heath House said “We are delighted that Irwin Mitchell Solicitors have been able to assist with the redecorating of the corridors. We really appreciate all of the time we receive from all of our volunteers and it makes so much difference to the people we support”.
