We are looking to recruit bank staff nurses to work at the Goole Neuro Rehabilitation Centre, a new 14 bedded neurological assessment and rehabilitation Centre, set in the grounds of Goole District Hospital, independent of the NHS.

The centre provides assessment and rehabilitation primarily for clients with acquired brain injury, and assessment of other neurological conditions.

The centre is a joint venture between Northern Lincolnshire and Goole Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust (BIRT), a division of the Disabilities Trust. BIRT is the means by which the Disabilities Trust provides its brain injury services.

It provides an acute/ post acute service through clinical assessment and the neuro-behavioural model of social rehabilitation. The aim will be to provide a continuous link for each service user through their pathway of care from in-patient services through to re-integration into community.

The centre benefits from a comprehensive clinical team led by consultants in rehabilitation and neuropsychology.

A multidisciplinary team of nurses and therapists, supported by rehabilitation support workers, provides a clinical outcome-led service to clients with acquired brain injury and other neurological conditions.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated staff team to join the venture in providing a unique specialist service, working within a medical and neuro rehabilitation model of care.

Staff will be employed under the Disabilities Trusts terms and conditions.
