Ann & Vic Hancox – Shinewater Court
Ann and Vic have been photographed in the garden of their flat
in Shinewater Court, where they moved over 19 years ago.
Ann first heard about Shinewater Court on the Woman's Weekly
tape in 1987. She was fascinated by the name Shinewater Court, and imagined
the sun shining on the water. She decided there and then that they would move
to Eastbourne in preparation for their advancing years, when they would need
more assistance in their daily life.
Ann and Vic are Trustees for The Disabilities Trust. They have
learned a lot while they have been here and feel it is a privilege to be a Trustee.
Ann enjoys being a business woman, it keeps her mind active. They appreciate
having a private life and they are looking to the future for more learning and
enjoyment and plan to grow old gracefully at Shinewater.
