Bank Rehabilitation Support Workers
Country Wide
Closing Date: Ongoing
We are frequently looking to recruit Bank Rehabilitation Support Workers to join our bank registers at our residential rehabilitation services around the country. Bank staff receive an induction and mandatory training and have similar job descriptions to our contracted Rehabilitation Support Workers. However, bank staff do not have a contract of employment and therefore neither party are obliged to offer/accept work: we offer work when our permanent RSWs are on holiday, absent due to sickness or to cover vacancies during the recruitment process. Shifts to be covered may be during the day, evenings and/or weekends.
If you are looking for an opportunity to gain work experience in a high quality rehabilitation service working alongside a multi-disciplinary clinical team, or simply want to earn some extra cash doing a rewarding job as part of a friendly team, please contact the service you wish to work at for more information.
BIRT’s programme is designed to help people re-learn skills lost as a result of an acquired brain injury (whether caused by road accident, assault or illness). We offer a comprehensive range of services including expert assessments and rehabilitation.
Our rehabilitation programmes are based on a neurobehavioral model. By working with each service user, our skilled staff help people to relearn old skills which have been lost as a result of a brain injury, or acquire new skills to help minimise the impact of the injury.
