With the help of his support workers Michaela Sanford, Lee Gregory and Fundraising Officer Emma Millar, Giles hopes to raise £4000 for the #ConnectAbility Appeal. Giles has a passion for technology and uses it in his everyday life – this was his motivation to hopes to raise money for the appeal.
Giles says, “I decided to take part in the Brighton Marathon to raise money for ConnectAbility because I want other service users to be able to use technology the way I can.”
Last year Giles competed in the BM10k and was delighted to have completed it in 1 hour 23 minutes. He was especially grateful to Connor and Keri, his then support workers, for pushing his wheelchair the length of the race.
