Service users and staff were delighted to welcome visitors to Ernest Kleinwort Court’s Annual Summer Fair Saturday 22nd August at 2pm. The event was opened by Mayor of Burgess Hill, Councillor Anne Jones MBE.

Ernest Kleinwort Court in Burgess Hill is a purpose built centre, providing accommodation and support for disabled people run by leading national charity, The Disabilities Trust. The fair was organised to raise funds for #ConnectAbility Appeal – a national £250,000 fundraising appeal for assistive communications technology for Disability Lifestyle service users. The event raised £570.82 which has been matched by Barclay’s bank.

Visitors enjoyed a range of stalls, including a raffle with one lucky winner taking home the prize of a mini iPad; live music performances and range of food and drink.
