If you have an original idea for
organising your own fundraising event, or would like some tried and
tested suggestions as to how you might be able to support us, we're
here to help you make it a reality.
Fundraising events play a vital role in the work that we do - as
well as being a great day out for those taking part.
Just about any activity can be turned into a
sponsored event. For example, a head shave, Christmas Day swim in
the sea, three legged race, fancy dress or bad hair day - the
opportunities are endless. The more outrageous, the more interest
you will generate (and hopefully more sponsorship money)! We also offer a
range of challenge events for the more daring!
At a more down to earth level, you could also try
your hand at running, for example, a clothes swap, a coffee morning
or a pub quiz.
If you would like to organise a fundraising event
in your local community, let us know what you are planning and we
can support you with help, advice and resources.
You can organise a
fundraising event:
- At school or college
- At work
- With your friends and family
- In your community
All of the money you raise will help more people
with complex disabilities get the support and care they need.
