The service is situated on spacious grounds where there is use of outdoor equipment such as trampolines and space for outdoor games and walks in the gardens. All people we support enjoy access to a well-equipped activity and events centre. Facilities include a music room, aromatherapy room, sensory table, arts and crafts area and a training kitchen. Holyrood also benefits from a well equipped sensory room. Hollyrood has a positive behaviour support ethos and we have an experienced positive behaviour support practitioner available if required. Hollyrood enables the people we support to actively engage in the local communities and many people we support attend local gyms, leisure centres, shopping centres and are supported to go on holidays. The service has an experienced and proactive staff team who are knowledgeable in supporting people with complex needs.
Hollyrood is less than half a mile from the village of Lindfield and two miles from Haywards Heath, with mainline railway links to London (40 minutes) and Brighton as well as a good selection of shops, colleges and leisure facilities. The two community houses also benefit from excellent local facilities and transport links including buses.
