The ample grounds contain a sensory garden, greenhouse and allotment. All service users enjoy access to a well-equipped activity and events centre. Facilities include a gym, woodwork centre, cement works, pottery, trampoline, training kitchen, music room, computer station and a sensory room. Hollyrood has its own psychology department, and our qualified staff are experienced and trained in the latest treatment and education systems for people with autism. Community inclusion is a priority, and service users have access to swimming, trampolining and gymnastics, bowling and horse riding. Hollyrood and the community houses also have their own transport for service users.
Hollyrood is less than half a mile from the village of Lindfield and two miles from Haywards Heath, with mainline railway links to London (40 minutes) and Brighton as well as a good selection of shops, colleges and leisure facilities. The two community houses also benefit from excellent local facilities and transport links including buses.
