The Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust (BIRT) celebrated Action for Brain Injury Week (ABIW) from 8th to 14th May. Our specialist centres across the UK hosted a range of events to raise awareness of the impact of brain injury and gave people tips on how to look after their brain.

The weeks activities are inspired by our mascot, Birt, from our 'Show Your Brain Some Love' campaign, who offered his six top tips on how to keep your brain healthy including exercising, mindfulness and wearing protective headgear.

Having just completed our #BuildTheBiggerPicture campaign, to celebrate 25 years of BIRT, we are continuing with the puzzle theme for our ABIW competition.

See the great photos that we have been sent so far in our Facebook album here!

You can still send us a photo of how you 'Show Your Brain Some Love' for your chance to win - each entry will also receive a Birt sliding puzzle (for first 500 entries).

Come and visit our special Action for Brain Injury Week webpage for details of how to enter and for some of examples from our service users and staff.

We look forward to seeing how you 'Show Your Brain Some Love'!
