On Monday 18th May the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust (BIRT) launched its national campaign ‘Show Your Brain Some Love’ which provides six top tips on how to help look after your brain, with the aim of helping to prevent brain injury.

A colourful character called ‘Birt’ has been created to help promote the six top tips on how to keep your brain in good condition, these cover: protection, nutrition, learning, exercise, mindfulness and awareness to help which can keep your brain healthy.

The launch of the Show Your Brain Some Love campaign has been timed to co-incide with the national event ‘Brain Injury Awareness Week’, this year being held between 18th - 24th May, which aims to increase public awareness about the risks of brain injury, and how to help prevent injury.
