Samantha's story

Samantha was found unconscious after suffering from a subarachnoid haemorrhage, and spent ten days in an induced coma whilst neurosurgeons operated to stop the bleeding on her brain. After three months of treatment in hospital Samantha was admitted to Fen House where she began her rehabilitation. Read Samantha's story.

Luke's story

After experiencing a traumatic brain injury in a road traffic accident Luke was admitted to Fen House for an intensive period of rehabilitation. Through an inter-disciplinary approach which focused on Luke returning to rehabilitation, he has now become a support worker himself at Fen House where he can draw on his own experience. Yvonne's story

Yvonne sustained a brain injury after a stroke in July 2018. She moved to Fen House the following October for rehabilitation for 12 weeks. Here, in her own words, Yvonne shares her experience of her rehabilitation during the time she spent the service.
