Welcome to Kent House

Located in Aylesbury, Kent House is a specialist residential centre providing continuing rehabilitation and specialist care and support for people with acquired brain injury (ABI). It forms part of the nationwide network of rehabilitation support services provided by the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust (BIRT).

Kent House works with people from all walks of life who are coping with a range of cognitive, physical and / or emotional symptoms following a severe brain injury. Service users will normally have already experienced a period of intensive rehabilitation before coming to us. Clinical care is based on the neurobehavioural model and focuses on enabling people to function independently and develop their lives as they choose with privacy, dignity and respect.

Our philosophy is that all people with acquired brain injury have the potential to make progress, no matter how severe their injury or how long ago it occurred.
