Jeremy Quin MP visits Kerwin Court

Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust (BIRT) centre Kerwin Court in Slinfold, West Sussex, welcomed Jeremy Quin, MP for Horsham, for a visit on Friday 17th March.

The visit was led by Wendy Fletcher (pictured with Mr Quin), Service Manager at Kerwin Court, and Sarah Rufrancos, Policy and Campaigns Manager for The Disabilities Trust, BIRT’s parent charity.

Kerwin Court provides specialist neurorehabilitation to help people regain lost skills following a brain injury. The complex effects of brain injury can include physical changes, memory loss and emotional and behavioural problems, as well as impacting on family life. Rehabilitation at Kerwin Court aims to enable people with brain injury to participate in as many of their previous rolesas possible.

Speaking after the visit, Wendy Fletcher said: “Jeremy Quin was really interested in the work we do here at Kerwin Court helping people to recover from their brain injury. We look forward to his continued support and hope to welcome him back in the summer to attend Kerwin Court’s 10th anniversary celebrations.”
