In May Redford Court, the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust (BIRT) Liverpool based service, held a superhero day in support of local radio campaign, 'Cash for kids'. The event raised money for a local Children’s hospice called Zoe’s Place - a hospice for babies and children with terminal illness or life limiting conditions. Superhero Day raised funds for the expansion of bereavement facilities in the hospice.
Michael Boardman, Service User and Family Liaison for Redford Court said: "It was such an amazing day. I often ask staff to get involved with charity events and they are keen to do so. Redford Court Staff and service users always go above and beyond to support other charities."
Redford Court held a BBQ, a raffle, and a cake sale, raising £257.70 for the fund.
