High Sherriff and Lord Mayor attend an open day at Redford Court

June has been a busy month for Redford Court, part of the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust (BIRT), and was rounded off by opening their doors to the community as part of the Care Homes Open Day 2017 initiative.

The team were delighted to be joined for the open day by the High Sherriff of Merseyside and the Lord Mayor of Liverpool along with their consorts.

The High Sherriff of Mersyside said; “You all do a fantastic job and I take my hat off to you all. I will be visiting Redford Court again and congratulate you for an amazing day and the amazing job you all do.”

A number of visitors such as the local police and PCSOs and other community organisations also came along to find out about the specialist rehabilitation services that are delivered by Redford Court

Michael Boardman Service user and family liaison officer said; “It was a great day and we are always happy to welcome people to Redford court to see the amazing work we do here with our service users.”

The Lord Mayor of Liverpool agreed; “Congratulations, you all do an outstanding job and it's good that my wife can see this amazing place as she is from Spain and has never had this experience."
