Staff and service users from the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust centre Thomas Edward Mitton House had a great day celebrating the 25 years of the service by cycling 25 virtual miles on an exercise bike.
As the Tour de France was running during the 25th celebration, the centre decided to have a Tour de BIRT to run parallel with the event, and a French themed day. People dressed up in their French inspired finery and shared out the cycling so that everyone cycled at 'Stage TEM' for about 5 minutes or more each.
They were each rewarded with a lovely continental brunch of ham, cheeses, breads, croissants, and fruits. During the afternoon sessions were planned around French language and service users had an enjoyable game of Boules.
