The Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust (BIRT) service; West Heath House in Birmingham, has celebrated the 25th anniversary of BIRTwith a grand summer party.

The fun-filled day was well attended by current and former service users, family and friends. The highlights included; a disco, a buffet, stocks, a raffle and was followed by an awards ceremony for service users. One of the service users from West Heath House said: “I was really happy with winning an art trophy and surprised at my raffle prize.”

Gifts were kindly donated by local organisations for the raffle, which included a signed football from West Bromwich Football Club.

A family member who attended the event said: “What a lovely afternoon. The sun shone down on proceedings. There was a DJ, lots of singing and dancing, a very tasty buffet and lots of family members attended. It was a joyful afternoon made possible by the wonderful hardworking staff.”
