The Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust’s (BIRT) service, York House, is presenting a free seminar entitled "Acquired brain injury: A multi-faceted approach to survival and recovery". This seminar will be held on Thursday 20th October 2016 at The Retreat in York.
The seminar is focused on rehabilitation, and includes presentations by Dr Thomas Elanjithara Consultant Psychiatrist, York House; Dr Ava Easton, Chief Executive of The Encephalitis Society; Victoria Dias of Cloverleaf Advocacy; Dr Miles Rogish, Consultant Clinical Psychologist at York House and Alison Bartholomew Health Sector Manager of the Brain Injury Group. Case studies will feature in the seminar and delegates will hear from someone who has benefited from a period of rehabilitation at York House.
This event is aimed at health and social care professionals working in the field of brain injury, including GPs, Commissioners, Consultants in Rehabilitation Medicine, Neuropsychologists, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Social Workers, and Case Managers. Personal Injury Lawyers are also very welcome at this seminar.
