With a competitive rates of pay, and 33 days holiday per year (inc bank holidays) we're keen to hear from individuals who want to join our unique team. Experience is not essential as we'll provide the training and support you need.

York House is a 38 bed, independent hospital offering neurobehavioural assessment, treatment and rehabilitation to adults with acquired brain injury who present with complex health needs and challenging behaviours. We offer a comprehensive range of services with input from a multidisciplinary team lead by a consultant psychologist and a consultant psychiatrist, and including clinical psychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and nursing and support staff.

As a RSW here at York House, you will be an integral part of our multi-disciplinary team, working with a range of health and social care professionals, to provide support to our service users, appropriate to their individual needs. You will enable our service users to complete their rehabilitation plans and be as independent as possible. This will include assisting with personal care, community visits and therapy sessions.

You will have excellent communication skills, be motivated, empathetic and understanding, and able to follow instructions well.

Full induction training will be provided, and further specialist training will be provided as you progress through your role.
