Lloyds Banking Group plc have committed to helping 4 services across the UK in partnership with The Disabilities Trust.

It forms part of their colleague volunteering programme which enables colleagues to spend at least one day per year volunteering for a charity or community project of their choice.

Visiting West Heath House, a Birmingham based is a specialist neurobehavioural rehabilitation centre for people with acquired brain injury (ABI). It forms part of the nationwide network of rehabilitation support services provided by the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust (BIRT).

West Heath House specialises in the rehabilitation of people with an acquired brain injury and complex needs including physical, cognitive, behavioural and/or emotional difficulties, including physical or verbal aggression, impaired social functioning and disinhibited behaviour.

Helping out in the garden and bringing it back to its former glory Amanda Haynes Service Manager said: “the input and hard work from Lloyds has returned our quiet garden back into a wonderful, tidy, useable space. Service users and staff alike are now looking forward to the spring and the opportunity to use the redefined space”.
