On October 12th, a team of nine from MRM, a communications agency, specialising in the financial sector, www.mrm-london.com are taking part in a Tough Mudder challenge on Clapham Common in support of Daniel Yorath House, in Garforth, near Leeds, a service run by the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust (BIRT) for people with acquired brain injury.

The Tough Mudder is an endurance event series in which participants attempt 10–12-mile-long obstacle courses which test mental as well as physical strength.

The centre is particularly important to one of the team. Phoebe Burrows explains “In October 2017, my mum was diagnosed with a rare condition that left her with a life changing brain injury. As a result, she was hospitalised for three months and subsequently had rehabilitation at Daniel Yorath House for over five months. We are very grateful to all the staff for the support mum received and I’m taking part in this challenge to say thank you.

Please support us by donating at https://www.justgiving.com/companyteams/mrmlondon.”

Fundraising Manager, Hayley Wicker-Bradbury, said: “We are very grateful to Phoebe and the team. Funds like this will enhance the lives of the people at the centre. Previous donations have bought state of the art physiotherapy equipment and music therapy sessions.”
