The Huw Thatcher Trust has just published the 2016 / 17 report. Since 2011 it has raised over £118,000 with £114,000 benefiting the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust (BIRT) and continues to support BIRT services and appeals linked with BIRT such as Eyes Alight. These funds have purchased IT, physio and therapy equipment, music therapy session, and redesigned gardens.

Services which have benefitted include Daniel Yorath House, Osman House and York House, all in Yorkshire where Huw lived all of his life and loved the community spirit, humour, and general quality of life in the area.

Projects have also been funded in Wales, Milton Keynes and most recently in Liverpool, where Redford Court service users will soon be able to enjoy a new sensory cabin.
