On Sunday 23rd April, Vicky Seymour ran the Virgin Money London Marathon, raising money for The Disabilities Trust.
Amazingly, Vicky ran her very first marathon in 3hrs 58mins. She wanted to run for The Disabilities Trust as she had known people with autism and people who had acquired brain injuries.
Vicky said: "With the inspiration of running for The Disabilities Trust to support me, I ran my first (and only!) marathon on Sunday. I broke my personal ambition of a marathon before my 40th birthday, my goal on the day of a four-hour marathon, and most importantly my fundraising target; bringing in over £2,200. What a day!"
Fundraising Officer Emma Millar said: “We would like to wish Vicky a big thank you for her hard work. To run her first marathon in less than four hours is a real achievement.”
