Legacies and Gifts in Will

Gifts in Wills are vital to the work of The Disabilities Trust. After you’ve taken care of loved ones, you may wish to leave a gift in your Will to us and pass on something wonderful to future generations.

By remembering The Disabilities Trust in this way, you’re ensuring that the work we do for adults with acquired brain injury, complex physical or learning disabilities and for people with autism, including education lives on.

The donation can be as small or large as you like – every gift makes a big difference.

How to leave a gift in your Will

  • Make a note of the charity name (The Disabilities Trust), address (32 Market Place, Burgess Hill, West Sussex RH15 9NP) and registered charity number (800797 in England and Wales, SC038972 in Scotland)
  • Find a solicitor or professional Will writer to write your Will, or if you already have a Will you can make an appointment to amend it

  • Provide your solicitor or Will writer with details of your chosen charity.
