Volunteers Alex and Rose Gillespie have been going the extra mile for Graham Anderson House for over eighteen months, and have been rewarded with a well-deserved short break to say thank you for their hard work.

The Gillespies have been dedicated supporters of Graham Anderson House ever since their son was admitted after sustaining a brain injury. They're not afraid to get stuck in to any challenge, and have helped with plenty of gardening work and maintenance around the service, assisting the Maintenance Manager, Colin, who has been very grateful for the extra pairs of hands!

They have attended a plethora of fundraising events at the service, and raised over £1000 in their own time for a summer house to help the service users enjoy the outdoor space. They've provided raffle prizes, Easter hampers and even a life-size sleigh for the Christmas fayre. Everyone at Graham Anderson House greatly appreciates everything they do, and to say thank you, we nominated them for a break away with Room to Reward, who specialise in short breaks for 'Hidden Heroes' - they are now looking forward to some well-earned rest and relaxation.

Thank you Alex and Rose for all that you do, and enjoy your break.
