The therapy team at Kent House are on a mission to transform the service for the people they support – and what better way to fundraise than to get muddy?

Therapy Assistant Melissa, Occupational Therapist Julie and Physiotherapist Tess are taking part in a Tough Mudder challenge on 4 May that will see them crawl, climb and wade through mud over a gruelling 5k obstacle course.

Working with Rempods, the team plan to refurbish the main therapy area and communal space. Rempods specialise in transforming spaces with sky tiles, LCD fish tanks, wall features and more, and have already refurbished some of the service users’ bedrooms. The Kent House team are keen to extend the sensory experience to everyone, but they need the help of generous sponsors!

Melissa said, “We want to make the communal space more inviting and offer sensory and therapeutic benefits to all service users, and create a positive change in the environment.” She added, “I also want to throw my supervisors in the mud!”

If you would like to help Melissa and the team towards their fundraising target, you can sponsor them here.
