Welcome to Jane Percy House
Jane Percy House provides accommodation and support for people with complex and high dependency needs, giving independence and lifestyle choices for adults with physical disabilities. Located in Cramlington, Northumberland, we form part of the nationwide network of disability support services provided by The Disabilities Trust.
We support people with a range of disabilities including cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, spina bifida and arthritis, multiple sclerosis and disabilities resulting from accidents or a stroke. As well as providing physical care, we are committed to ensuring that people have control over their lives and are treated with dignity and respect at all times. We offer a person-centred approach that encourages personal development, confidence and independence.
We offer independent living skills training programmes, either at local colleges or within the centre. For those who are actively seeking to move from a residential to a community based setting, support is offered according to individual requirements.

About Jane Percy House
Life at Jane Percy House
At Jane Percy House we offer a continuum of support enabling people to join or move through the service as needs and desires dictate, from home support to living in a community house or residential setting. We actively promote the involvement of families, and seek to involve service users in every decision that affects their lives.
We use technology to promote independence - anything from an adapted kettle through to highly sophisticated, automatic environmental controls and specialist communications aids, all of which enable people to gain independent living skills and build confidence.
Activities
Service users are encouraged to become involved in a wide range of social, vocational and recreational activities that promote personal development, confidence and independence. We offer a wide range of educational and recreational activities including cooking, arts and crafts, exercise, laundry, personal safety, financial management and IT. Service users can also take part in a number of therapeutic activities, both on and off site.
We also have a CardioWall installed that can be used by people of all abilities, to challenge the user both physically and mentally through a range programmes.
