There is a central communal garden where residents enjoy social events and a lounge/dining room where service users can have their meals, watch television, take part in activities and meetings or simply socialise. To ensure the safety of all service users at Gregory Court, there are CCTV cameras on the premises; service users have individual lockable front doors with key fob entry on communal doors, 24 hour on-site staffing and a call system in all rooms.
Gregory Court also offers a person-centred approach to support and service users are encouraged to take part in a wide range of educational and recreational activities including cooking, art and crafts, exercise, laundry, personal safety, financial management and IT. Activities are discussed with service users' individual key workers and take place on a one-to-one basis. Day trips include visits to the coast, bowling and theatre, and are planned with the input of all service users.
Gregory Court is situated in the heart of the community, one mile north of Nottingham city centre, with direct access to the newly installed Nottingham Tram System and is close to the M1 motorway and all forms of public transport. There are many local shops and a supermarket within a 5-10 minute walk, as well as a leisure centre, swimming pool, cinema, restaurants and public houses, which are all accessible on the bus or tram.
