The sensory garden at Victoria House

Victoria House’s bespoke fountain in their sensory garden has now been built. This comes as the second part of their Green Fingers project, with £12,000 funding coming from Tesco’s Bags of Help scheme!

Service users played an active part in designing this, participating in a workshop, with the artist Chris Campbell from Campbell’s design who made the fountain, to make their own discs to hang from it, that represent them individually.

All are delighted with the end result and it will go some way towards the physical and emotional well-being of those at Victoria House

Victoria House supports people with a range of disabilities including cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, spina bifida and arthritis, multiple sclerosis and disabilities resulting from accidents or a stroke. As well as providing physical care, it is committed to ensuring that people have control over their lives and are treated with dignity and respect at all times.
