Victoria House recently hosted its Annual Summer fair to raise funds for the #ConnectAbility Appeal – a national £250,000 fundraising appeal for assistive communications technology for Disability Lifestyle service users.

Service users, visitors and staff had a great day, with activities including a Nature Safari featuring a range of animals.

Victoria House in Hull, has recently been chosen as Hull FC’s Charity of the Year and were delighted to welcome Diamond White Stars Cheerleading group to perform at the event. Visitors enjoyed a range of stalls and live music performances, including a set by local singer Jonny Pat. The fair raised an impressive £605 for the #ConnectAbility Appeal.

Victoria House supports people with a range of disabilities including cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, spina bifida and arthritis, multiple sclerosis and disabilities resulting from accidents or a stroke. As well as providing physical care, it is committed to ensuring that people have control over their lives and are treated with dignity and respect at all times.
