Here is a round-up of activities that our service users at Victoria House have been up to during March:
- On Valentines Day service users Shirley and Lucy wanted to spread the love around Victoria House and decided to make a very large cake, with lots of cream and sprinkles (for extra love). They thoroughly enjoyed making it, but the eating part was best! All service users and staff got to sample the cake whilst they held a sing along. The most memorable of which was Jimmy, Ian and Lesley giving a rather loud rendition of Elvis Presley.
- Jimmy visited the Guide Dogs in St Stephens shopping centre. He loved all the dogs and especially watching the show they did for everyone. Jimmy bought his very own cuddly Guide Dog before he left, naming it Angie, much to the surprise of Angela Hardie, the Activities Coordinator!
- Scott and Angela carried out their city of culture duties and recently stationed themselves at the Humber Street Gallery to help visitors at‘The Big Picture’.
