About Redford Court

Redford Court is a brain injury rehabilitation centre where people initially come for a 12-week assessment period, where they begin rehabilitation to support their recovery. This is then reviewed and may be extended to allow for further rehabilitation to be supported.

Facilities

Redford Court has twenty large studio-style apartments and four independent living flats with ensuite facilities. Pleasant communal areas complement these, alongside a sensory cabin for relaxation. The physiotherapy room has a range of equipment, and our two rehabilitation kitchens have facilities for cooking and laundry.

Our rehabilitation models

Our specialist rehabilitation is based on a neuro-behavioural approach and focuses on enabling people to function more independently and develop their lives as they choose. The multi-disciplinary team has specialist assessment and therapy rooms to aid an individual’s recovery.

The programme may include:

  • Educational and therapeutic sessions
  • Support for personal, social, and domestic skills
  • Guided leisure time
  • Behavioural management
  • Community access
  • Vocational support and training

The people we support are actively involved in reviewing their progress against agreed outcomes, and we promote the involvement of families in the rehabilitation process. Home leave is encouraged wherever possible.

Becoming more independent

In addition to the main centre, there is a one-bedroom transitional supported living home close to the service where people can strengthen their skills before moving onto a more independent environment.

Located in the vibrant city of Liverpool, Redford Court is ideally situated for social integration in the community and offers opportunities for education and work placements. The people we support enjoy easy access to the city’s cultural centres, Liverpool One Shopping Centre, a selection of theatres, museums, and leisure facilities such as nearby Sefton Park.
