About Brainkind Redford Court

Brainkind Redford Court is a specialist neurological centre where people with acquired brain injuries or complex neurological conditions come for an initial 12-week assessment to begin their rehabilitation. This can be extended to provide for further support, as required.

Our specialist rehabilitation is based on a neuro-behavioural approach – led by our experienced multidisciplinary team, consisting of neuropsychology, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy and rehabilitation support workers.

We focus on enabling people to function more independently and develop their lives as they choose. Our programmes include educational and therapeutic sessions; support for personal, social, and domestic skills; guided leisure time; vocational support and training; and access to the local community.

Brainkind Redford Court, rated ‘Good’ by the CQC, is equipped with a wide range of facilities to help support the delivery of our expert care. Our multi-disciplinary team has specialist assessment and therapy space to aid the people we support in their rehabilitation and recovery.

The people we support are actively involved in reviewing their progress. We promote the active involvement of families in the rehabilitation process, and home leave is encouraged wherever possible.

Whether someone needs assistance with daily tasks, help to improve emotional or social skills, or support to regain their physical independence, our services ensure that life after a brain injury is a life well lived – whatever that means to the people we support.

Becoming more independent

Located in vibrant Liverpool, Redford Court offers ample opportunities for social and community integration, including education and work placements. The people we support have easy access to the Liverpool One Shopping Centre as well as theatres, museums, and leisure facilities, such as nearby Sefton Park.

Redford Court Lodge

Alongside our core intensive rehabilitation offering, Redford Court Lodge provides five en-suite rooms designed for individuals requiring longer-term support. These spaces provide a more independent setting where the people we support can continue their journey at their own pace, with a focus on building confidence and practicing daily living skills. This slow-stream option forms part of our care pathway, helping individuals prepare for greater independence and a successful transition back into the community.
