Lesley Orr, Assistant Manager, Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust, Graham Anderson House Hospital, Glasgow tell us

“We are delighted to announce the opening of Colson Road, near Glasgow in November. This new Supported Living service will run alongside our other two specialist services in Scotland Graham Anderson House Hospital and Eastfields. This service will support individuals who have an acquired brain injury and are able to live in the community with person centred support. We are very excited about this new service and have been working closely with the funders Glasgow City Council and Inclusion Housing who will be the landlord on this project. We are looking to expand this service within Scotland and hopefully this new service will be the first of many”.

Colston Road, is a large four bedroom supported living accommodation offering 24 hour support for four service users. The property is detached, containing four bedrooms, 3 of those are ensuite and the fourth bedroom has a walk in shower room adjacent to bedroom. There is a private garden and a covered seating area and access to the back garden via a gate.

The home is situated between Glasgow and Bishopbriggs and has good links for public transport, shopping and the city centre.
