BIRT-Graham-Anderson-House-DuncanCycle

On Friday 14th October Graham Anderson House service user Duncan is embarking on a 20 mile bike ride from Kirkintilloch near Glasgow to the Falkirk Wheel, accompanied by keen fellow cyclist Mark, who is a support worker at GAH.

Duncan sustained a brain injury at the age of 17 and moved to Graham Anderson House in 2012. Last November he moved to the new extension ‘Eastfields’, where he decided he wanted to do more for people suffering with a brain injury and raise money for the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust (BIRT), in particular Eastfields.

Lorraine McAuley, Business Administrator, said “Duncan is a keen cyclist and is taking the challenge to cycle the 20 mile flat, traffic free route along the canal to the iconic 21st century landmark, the Falkirk wheel.”

We wish you all the best Duncan and will update this story once you’ve completed this fantastic achievement and told us how it went!
